I found out this show existed 2 weeks ago, maybe? So now I've started watching it, I'll be trying to watch a few episodes every weekend, followed by rating them all individually on a scale of 1 - 5, and a small note/comment about the episode. Sometimes I give a rating and say nothing, that just means I don't have anything in-depth to say, but I can still like it.
I give Dan Vs.:
New Mexico 3/5 (Oooo, I love the background art of this show. Looks so rough, but pretty)
The Wolf-Man 3/5 (Oh okay so... An actual wolf-man and living skeletons? I was under the impression this show was relatively like the real world, and wouldn't straight up have supernatrual elements like this stuff like this. Not a fan of it)
The Dentist 4/5 (This is what I mean with my previous comment... Dan was right and the dentist is an actual supervillain. Very far fetched)
The Ninja 4/5
The Animal Shelter 5/5 (I knew Dan was a psychopath but I didn't think he'd be willing to murder innocent dogs... At least he had a change of heart at the end, and his shenanigans with Chris is what I loved about this one. Also, second episode in a row where Chris got poisoned)
Canada 3/5
Traffic 4/5 (I just noticed Chris wears socks with flip flops. What. The. Hell)
First impressions? It's very funny, Dan himself is a hilarious protagonist, though technically the antagonist most of the time. He's so psycho and insane, and gets angry over the smallest things, it's hilarious. I just didn't like some of the supernatrual elements like living skeletons or murderous dentist robots... Hopefully that wears off. For a flash animated show, it can look boring at times, but the pretty backgrounds make up for it, as well as the fact that they occasionally use very exaggerated/cartoonish expressions and movements for Dan.
