Hey, BBW (ha!) here. I ended up revealing recently that I'm a practicing Neo-Pagan, and I've been asked to discuss it some. I'll happily oblige, but don't worry I'm not trying to convert anyone (that's generally not our thing anyway) This is just informational. I'll try to give a decent FAQ
1. How did you become a Pagan?
Short answer, college, slightly more detailed answer... I became disenchanted with Christianity, even spent some time as an edgy internet atheist (something distinct from well-adjusted atheists, nothing wrong with being an atheist.) I got super into philosophy in college and was at least self-aware enough that I was unhappy and there are alot of religions out there, maybe there's something out there for the hopeful agnostic in me. I read a lot of books and I came across Wicca, I also would pursue my interest in occultism in general at this time. I joined The Grey School of Wizardry in 2011, and I'm still very much involved with it. I'm not actually Wiccan anymore, but as with many Pagans,it was where I got my feet wet.
2. If you're not Wiccan, what are you?
I'm a Roman Polytheist, I generally work with/worship Roman Deities. I do this on my own or 'solitary' in my practice.
3. What do you believe?
Well that can be a pretty deep rabbit-hole. Suffice to say, I believe in many gods. Whether they are distinct beings (hard polytheism) or part of the same god (soft polytheism) is something I've gone back and forth on. I try to as much as I am able, incorporate Roman-Style ritual into my practice and worship Roman and foreign deities in 'the Roman way' This means giving offerings of wine and incense, saying prayers to my gods and my ancestors/spirits at the Lararium, and trying to uphold the virtues of a true Roman citizen. I see the gods of Rome as the gods of civilization, as much as they are gods of nature, so I keep this in mind as I move forward. So while my religion is ecological as many Neo-Pagans are, do don't see it as a retreat into primitivism or a denial of the virtues of modernity.

With that light overview I'd be happy to answer any questions about my religion or about my occult practice you may have. I hope you found this interesting/entertaining, and I hope you have a wonderful day!
