That's cool!!! I love a lot of them but my absolute favorite is definitely Jasper. There's a bunch of reasons. Garnet is also up there along with Connie and Lars.

Garnet’s pretty great, the dynamic between Sapphire and Ruby is super cute too. But I’ll always have a special appreciation for Peridot and Lapis. Peridot has such a great redemption arc, and Lapis’s struggle to accept the others’ friendship is good too.
Yellow Diamond! You have to love the Diamond Authority. The elusiveness and mystery that came with them. Then Yellow was running business. No nonsense.
Lapis is a favorite because I love the depiction of despair she has. And I also like Peridot because she reminds me of myself.
I am really interested to see how the movie and the next season will go with the grand myth arc they've been doing so far already wrapped up. I don't know if I've ever seen another show that finished it's story that it built from the beginning and then just.....kept going.

Anime do it ALL the time.
Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, for example.

"We defeated the Ultimate Super Mega Enemy of All Time! Surely we will have peace now." "Wait! It is I, the ULTRA Ultimate Super Mega Enemy of All Time AND Space!

Yeah, technically the original story of Dragon Ball Z built up from the beginning was JUST the Saiyan Saga(MAYBE the Frieza Saga, there were hints of that, but nothing past)

Maybe this was just Saga 1.
Apparently the original show was just about pretty basic martial arts, and the super Saiyan arts were the highest level they had.
And then before you know it a hairless cat is helping a god baby blow up universes for like no reason.
