True, and admittedly I'm not up to date, but I still firmly believe The Orville is the best sci-fi show airing right now.
...Funnily enough I only know what that is because everyone on the Daria Fansite had a serious love for it....and also may have been writing a crossover anthology fanfic.

That's cool! Yeah, I've half-jokingly referred to 2018 as 'the year sci-fi died' And if you've been paying attention to the state of Star Wars, Star Trek and Dr. Who, it isn't exactly hard to see why. Season 1 was a godsend for the genre and the RT scores are a riot. Critics hated it and fans loved it, so, you know, the opposite of the Jodie Whittaker run of Dr. Who.

I'd respond.....if I watched.....any of those.
Yeah, I kinda hate the Sci-Fi genre, that and ...grr...fantasy
Genre fiction is kind of my jam...haha. But I know it isn't for everyone.
The Daria Fandom seems to have a strong boner for sci-fi and fantasy. Like, 3 viagra level.
Specifically Elder Scrolls/LOTR style fantasy, and DC style fanfiction.
The DC stuff is VERY noticable, one of the forums oldest writers two main series are a universe with a Daria superhero academy and a Daria version of the Lantern Core who protect the Daria Multiverse.
Anyway, that's the second thread I've derailed. You make the Neo-Paganist thread, I'll make the "Genres we hate" thread
