It’s on my list of things to watch. Hope I get around to it soon. Internet is pretty bad where I’m staying so I might wait until I’m back home. I’m tired of waiting 10 min to watch a 7 second vine in 144p quality. :///

Shhiiiit that sounds like some bad internet
Yeah that's how it is most of the time. It sometimes is normal and I can watch videos but I'd rather not risk starting something good and having it cut off. I go home in like 2 weeks so I can wait.

If you want a taste of what it's like, there's a 2006 BBC docudrama you can find on youtube that is essentially a condensed version of it

Oh cool, I think I found it, it's called "Surviving Disaster". I actually like watching multiple documentaries of the same topic (if it's interesting enough, for example, Fyre Festival on both Hulu and Netflix) so this should be good.

Yup, that's it. My personal favourite. Alot of overlap between it and the HBO one, to the point I think they took inspiration.
If you want a technical based one, Seconds from Disaster, and if you want a true doc with a bit more personal stuff, look for Zero Hour. There's also Battle of Chernobyl. Those three are all very unique, unlike Surviving Disaster and HBO, which are essentially the same story, including the same mistakes. HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMHH.
Tell me if you liked Surviving Disaster, watching it before the HBO one is a good idea

Yes, I always thought it was interesting how Billy McFarland was portrayed so differently between the two documentaries. If I recall correctly, Netflix had a much more forgiving portrayal, while Hulu, who did actually interview McFarland, made him look more like the sketchy person he truly is.

I know what you mean. Both of them have differences, though I argue these two are kinda suspiciously similar.
