My attempt to construct a timeline for the show.
For clarity's sake, the year is mostly interchangeable(This could easily fit into BlazeDekus 2001 theory), but I'll be setting the start of the timeline in late 2010.
So, the first major obvious point in the timeline is Dan Vs The Wolfman, where it is Halloween during the first half of the episode(October 2010), while the second half of the episode takes place One Lunar Month later in November 2010.
This is supported by Dan Vs New Mexico, which takes place "shortly before" the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, which in that year ran from October 3rd to October 10th.
So Dan Vs New Mexico takes place either on the last week of September or at the dead start of October 2010, while Wolfman takes place at the end of October, as well as November.
After this, there are no solid clues for a couple episodes, but the next major one is in Dan Vs Canada, where we get two clues.
1. It's hockey season, and the Toronto Team(in real life the Maple Leafs) is playing a game in Quebec. This suggests it's pre-playoffs.
2. There's still snow almost everywhere, but the first plants are breaking through.
As someone who has lived in Southern Canada all my life, that weather suggests the first half of April, MAYBE END OF MARCH. Combined with the hockey timing, the first week of April is the most likely timing for this episode, likely very early in the month.
Therby, Dentist, Ninja, and Animal Shelter take place from December 2010-March 2011, likely evenly spread out.
Dan Vs Baseball takes place at the ending of the World Series, which in 2011 ended by mid October.
So already, by Dan Vs Baseball we've gone a full year into the timeline. I COULD just extrapolate the data and say "8-10 episodes per in show year", but that seems unwise.
That's all I have for now, but rest assured I'll work on finding more clues soon.
