I know I've been posting a lot of ideas here, but since we're now in the clear to discuss the show possibly getting picked up again: I've got another idea to share for the revival. I mentioned the prospect of this idea during the last interview with Chris, but I would LOVE to see Dan Vs cross-over with Vivziepop's Helluva Boss in a special episode!
The runtime could be the standard 22 minutes/half-hour, or they could bump it up to 45 minutes or an HOUR if there's enough plot and character development to cover in that amount of time (and if the budget is high enough).
Don't get me wrong: I understand that Helluva is independently made and is only three episodes in (so far), whereas Dan Vs is considered more "mainstream" entertainment on a major network/streaming platform (we still don't know which platform Hazbin will be on right now. Fingers crossed it's HBO Max, since that's the service we're hoping the Dan Vs revival will be greenlit on!). But I believe there's a lot of fun character interactions I could see happening between the Dan Vs trio (Dan, Chris, & Elise) and the IMP Team (Blitzo, Moxxie, Millie, and Loona).
Think about it: Dan and Blitzo are both crazy, emotionally detached people who constantly harass their friends for their own benefits (and they have an underlying need for love and emotional support), Moxxie and Chris are the kind middle men trying to maintain order and reason for their teams, and Millie and Elise are the action heroines who dearly care about their respective spouse. The only outliers that stick out are Loona and Stolas, but I'm sure they'd also have great interactions with Dan and his friends (for example, maybe Dan doesn't get along with Loona right away because he's a cat person).
As for the antagonist, I think it would be cool to have a new, original antagonist that is connected to both Dan's revenge plot and someone who has a deeper understand of Hell and its supernatural abilities to tie back into the world of Hazbin/Helluva. Hell, you could even bring back the Demon Boss from Season 3 as the antagonist, or she could just be a minor cameo!
Basic Plot Synopsis: Dan gets screwed over by someone as per usual, but he decides that he needs to kill this person due to their high status of power. Chris and Elise want no part in being accomplices for murder, so Dan hires I.M.P (Immediate Murder Professionals) to deal with the issue instead. Hilarity, drama, twists, and turns ensure, which ultimately brings the worlds of the mortal realm and the circles of Hell together for an amazing climax.
