I only started watching this show a few months ago after setting out an episode recommendation thread on PPMB, and since then I've been binge watching it.
This show is frickin fantastic.
Butters,Cartman and Randy are my favourite characters, my favorite episodes are "Casa Bonita" and "Scott Tenorman Must Die"

I have been watching South Park for quite some time. I really can't settle on what episode or season I like best, but "Timmy 2000" I prominently remember. Rock on, Timmy.

I love South Park, although its so political and sometimes you can see the creators biases or faults in it. I remember a particular episode dealt with why the N word is such a big deal to black people and how you should just never say it no matter your justification because you could never understand. But then they had an episode about the F word for gay people and the message was "just let people say it as long as its not directed to gays" which to me is obviously two conflicting messages.
But in general it's one of the funniest things around.

That's not even a fair comparison. The N word has been adopted for internal use, while NO one says the other one(unless your talking about british cigarettes) in a non offensive context.
A better comparison for The N word would be the lesbian word, while a better comparison for the gay f word would be the k word.

Actually, enough beating around the bush.
I am gay, had other gay friends, and am into the drag queen scene and we do call each other faggot in the same way black people call each other the n word. It has basically the same place in both societies: a word that is reclaimed as a badge of honor but not ok for others to use. Same goes with dyke, lesbians and gay men call each other faggot and dyke alot since we generally see ourselves as the same "group" so we dont offend each other.

Ok, thanks for the expert opinion. Haven't spoken to many gays(though quite a few lesbians and bis, I seem to run into them alot)
Anyway, what's your favourite South Park episode. I like Casa Bonita and Scott Tenorman must die

Hmm there's alot of good ones. Top off of my head would be the KFC, high school musical, ginea pigs, and inception episodes. I most like the episodes that have an obviously ridiculous concept.

Medicinal Fried Chicken is an easy top 5 for me. Number 1 is Casa Bonita, 2 is Scott Tenorman....hmmm.....3 and 4...I honestly like Butters alot in general.
Also, the KFC episode has forever altered my perception of this track.
