I doubt anyone will read this A/N, but if you do, thanks a million
I'm going to be re-writing this story since I liked the idea, but had horrible writing skills when I wrote the original. The format will be different as well. Unlike before where I told the story through chapters, I am going to be telling this story through episodic type short stories. Some short stories will be in order, and some out of order. But to make things less confusing, I'll give a short description of the time period it takes place in, and any important things that should be mentioned before reading the story. The reason I am doing this is because the story takes place over a course of many years, and I don't feel like writing 100 short stories just to get to a fic that takes place later on in the story. Plus I just want to follow wherever my inspiration takes me, and write whatever adventures I come up with for the cast no matter where in the story it takes place in. But I'll try to write each one so they can be read out of order and still make sense. These stories are not as well done as my main projects, but just simply something I'm doing for fun in my free time. :>
A quick heads up about the content of the story. A lot of these will be some cheesy selfship stuff with Dan because he means a lot me okay qwq. But I will have some fics that go into my opinions on what all the character's backstories are, including some headcanons for where the imposter came from and where he is now, show some character development for the main cast, and just stuff based around how I think the character's lives will play out later on.
General plot summary:
Dan gets sentenced to work community service for a place called the "Gem Country Club", doing work as a janitor. He's assigned to work with the Vice director Frida, who's job is to keep an eye on him while he works there, but eventually develop a relationship later on. He discovers that the owner of the Country Club is non other than the imposter, and chaos ensues. The story goes over all the misadventures of the cast, and even covers events taking place years later when Frida takes ownership of the County Club, and both Dan and Chris become parents. This first one covers Dan's first introduction to his new place of work.

That day was clearly different than the rest he had lived out. Last time he went to court, he was sentenced to anger management, but that didn’t work out as expected. Nope. This time he had gotten community service. He didn't understand why such an inhuman punishment would be given to someone for such a minuscule crime like high level arson, but he always failed to understand the corrupted ways of the government.
Was he angry as usual? Sad at his failed attempt to seek revenge against the mall employees? Was he disappointed or scared for what would come next? Probably a combination of all of them, though he refused to openly show his concern to any one else other than Mr. Mumbles.
Dan stood at the entrance of the country club he was now working for. It was a luxurious building resting outside a golf course and swimming pool. Sounds fancy right? Don't get your hopes up high, he wouldn’t be doing more than cleaning up the dirt of the richer customers. He wasn’t sure how he even obtained that job since it was technically community service to make up for his actions, but he was there now, and didn't have a say in it.
He ruffled his vest and bow which he was forced to wear for “a good appearance.” He didn't know what their version of “A good appearance” was, since no one would see him doing anything else other than sweeping. That was what he was going to do right? He didn't know. “Clean” was such a broad word, and he didn't understand much about what the task entailed.
“Look at this place Dan!” Elise gestured to the inside of the luxuriously constructed building.
Chris and Elise came with him to provide what they claimed was “moral support”, but he knew they just didn’t want him burning the place down on his first day.
“It looks like Jeff Bezos wanted to make a knock off Hollywood setup. Dan looked around at the marble walls and shining floor which echoed with his heeled shoes.
“Don’t be so shrewd, this place looks really accommodating.”
Dan scoffed. “Yeah, if you're a customer with a two hundred thousands dollars a year salary and an over groomed poodle.” He glared at an older lady with a poodle sitting at her dinner table. “Plus I’m doing work for free, what’s fun about that if I don't get anything in return?”
“Look on the bright side, there are good benefits if- IS THAT A BUFFET?!” Chris’ attention became fixated upon a long table of food in another room like a dog catching eye of a squirrel.
“Can you not let your fat-”
“Let him be. There’s no bringing him out of it once he’s seen food.” Elise tapped him on the shoulder and led him in the direction of the owner’s office to discuss his arrival.
They walked past a giant fountain with crystal clear water pouring from the mouth of the golden creatures carved into the stone surface. He had to admit, the place was nice, but he just wanted money. “Even the minimum wage must be tempting for a place like this.” He murmured before stumbled into someone. “Hey watch where you’re-” He looked ahead to see a woman around his age, slightly taller with olive skin, and chestnut hair. A beauty mark dotted over her smile, and a marine colored suit fitted her body.
“You look oddly like my boss, though he explained that would be the case.” She said as she tilted her head in curiosity.
“I look like your boss?” His anger rose. “There’s only room for someone this handsome in the world to exist, and I already claimed that spot.”
“Oh who cares, you must be Dan.” She outstretched her hand.
He looked at it like it was a mouse trap. “Who wants to know?!”
“Tut tut little man.” She patted his head which made him fume with rage. “I’m the vice director of this place. Our boss couldn’t meet with you today since he’s busy, but I’ve been assigned to give you a tour of what sections you’ll be working in, and give you the basic run down of all your responsibilities. Places like hotel rooms are not to be visited, but the kitchen and dining rooms are mostly where you will be working.”
“I’d rather drop dead.”
“Oh we can arrange that if you wish,” She said with a sickly sweet smile.
“I like this woman,” Elise chuckled.
He looked at her decisively. “And what if I don't want to?”
“Then it’s ten years in prison for arson.” She smiled cheekily.
“Fine, where’s the broom?” He looked around.
“There’s more to this than just sweeping you know. Like I said, I’m here to assist you.” She went to show him the rooms he would be working in, but found he was sneaking to the exit. Elise watched him in amusement as the young woman grabbed the collar of his shirt and dragged him away.
_________
The tour ended soon enough, and Chris had rejoin with a pile of food in his arm "Elise, they have tikka masala here." Chris squealed.
"Not now Chris." Elise waved him off.
“Now if you need help, or have any questions, let me know.”
“I do have some questions actually.” He became defensive. “What’s your name? I want to know who I’m working for. And do you by happen to have nitrogen in this building?”
She took a deep breath then answered, “no Dan, we don't have nitrogen here, or any chemicals that you could use to poison staff. I talked to the judge, and I know what you’re like.”
He cursed under his breath
“And secondly, my name is Frida, Frida Macdowell. I will be sticking by you these next nine months of your employment to ensure you stay in check.” She outstretched her hand once more, which he shook angrily. “Welcome to the Gem Country club.”
